 Galle Dutch Fort


Galle Dutch Fort is another one of mostly visited and tourist attracted place which is located in Bay of Galle in the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It is considered this was first built by Portuguese in 1588 and then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 7th century from 1649 onwards. 
                                           Because of its historical value UNESCO has been identified it as a world heritage site under the criteria iv; for its unique exposition of "an urban ensemble which illustrate the interaction of European Architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th centuries to the 9th centuries". 

              If you visit here you can experience the beautiful sunset and the old light house in Galle Fort.
Small shops to buy anything and antique items you love may here. There are walking paths to roaming with experiencing  the beautiful sunset and ocean wind.
