Three major ways are open to climb this sacred hill and it can be worshipped people from every year December to First full moon of April Month. You can approach their by these ways; Hatton approach, Palabaddala and Erathna.
It is consider that Lord Buddha's sacred foot print has been established here in the Lord Buddha's first arrival of  Sri Lanka. If the journey is little much tough but you when the top of the hill you will never missed and forget that nice view of it in your life time. That much beautiful it.

It is better take power adaptors, water some snacks, raincoats, panels and small lamp or torch with you.
